Chicken training at PS 154!

We taught a chicken workshop to some 2nd and 5th graders at PS 154 - home of a new coop of 5 lovely hens, part of the Just Food City Chickens Program!  The new hens are a wonderful addition to the school, and some students are part of a team to help care for the hens!  These programs are exciting opportunities for students to learn about animal husbandry, health and nutrition and become experienced chicken-keepers!
